CSA Details

Our yarn share features 100% organic merino wool carefully hand-dyed with a range of dye plants that we grow on our farm in Dauphin County, PA.

Large shares include 10 mini skeins weighing 20g each, showcasing the broad range of colors we grow on our farm.

Small shares include 6 mini skeins weighing 20g each.

CSA members can choose to pick up their share during the pickup event on Sunday, 11/15 or can have their share shipped to them for an additional cost.

Worsted Weight Yarn Details

This four-ply organic merino wool worsted weight yarn has a rich handfeel and good structure for textured stitches and cables.

Yardage: Approx. 43 yards per 20g skein

Suggested Needle and Hook Sizes: 5mm | US 6-8 | H8

Suggested Gauge: 5 stitches/inch

Care Instructions: Hand wash, use mild detergent, do not bleach, dry flat away from direct sunlight.

Fingering Weight Yarn Details

This single-ply organic merino wool yarn is deliciously soft for close to the skin accessories like hats, mitts, scarves, and more.

Yardage: Approx. 87 yards per 20g skein

Suggested Needle and Hook Sizes: 3.5mm | US 1-3 | E4

Suggested Gauge: 6.5-7.5 stitches/inch

2026 Color CSA - Dried Dyestuffs

We are pleased to offer dried dyestuffs as a new option for our 2026 Color CSA. Many of the dye plants we grow can be used in their dried form for a wide range of natural dye projects, including ecoprinting, bundle dyeing, and immersion dyeing.

CSA members can choose to pick up their share during the pickup event on Sunday, 11/15 or can have their share shipped to them for an additional cost.

Small Shares include $50 worth of dried dyestuffs, featuring plants including:

Japanese Indigo (Persicaria tinctoria), Marigolds (Tagetes erecta), Orange Cosmos (Cosmos sulphureus), and mixed flower confetti

Large Shares include $100 worth of dried dyestuffs, featuring everything in the small share plus:

Weld (Reseda luteola), Calendula (Calendula officinalis), Bicolor Marigolds (Tagetes patula), and a double share of Japanese Indigo (Persicaria tinctoria)

All of our dyestuffs are dried out of direct sunlight and packaged in heat sealed bags for freshness.
